Hiran, (insidesomalia.org) - The residential of Baladweyn businessperson was overnight raided by unknown armed men, and so far one person is confirmed dead and two others were seriously wounded.

The raid occurred in the mid hours of last night when the entire town dwellers were in absolute soundless sleep, but woke up after the roaring of the guns.

It is yet unclear the main motive behind the attack of businessman Ibrahim Abdi (Day), and frrtunetly Mr. Day himself was not at his house by the time of the raid

The attackers exchanged fire with the house guards of the businessman, and the guards of the town mayor Adan Abdi Garaso also joined the fight and reinforced the guards of the trader since the two houses were neighbors.

The wounded ones were the guards of Baladweyn town mayor, and they are now receiving treatment at Baladweyn main hospital.

The attackers eventually withdrew from the premises of the tycoon and where they went to is still ambiguous.

The condition is currently cool though in killings in the town has recently increased. On the hand Ethiopian soldiers have today gunned down a Somali juvenile in abroad daylight inside Baladweyn town.
